At the American Renaissance conference this spring we had a formal debate on the question: “Can the American political system solve the race problem?”

Arguing for the affirmative, I said the following thing:

没有东西长成天空。 公众态度起伏不定; 钟摆摆动。 英国清教徒 禁止圣诞节绞死的通奸者; 二十年后, 恢复. A century and a half later, Regency gave way to 维多利亚时代的素养.

The events of the past month have left that looking a tad optimistic. In 冷内战 between goodwhite progressives and us badwhite traditionalists, the enemy has won a rapid succession of victories and is bursting with triumphalist zeal.

In this case, “The court decided it did not matter if the state housing department did not explicitly set out to discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex or national origin—the effect was enough to violate the law.” [Supreme Court: Texas Reinforced Segregated Housing by Liz Crampton, 得克萨斯论坛报,六月25,2015。]

  • While denying the relevance of intent in the Texas case, the Supremes 同时 handed down a ruling on Obamacare in 王诉伯韦尔意图 of those who draft a law supersedes the plain meaning of the actual words in the actual statement of the law.

Chief Justice Roberts ruled with the majority, brushing aside the petitioners’ appeals to federalism.

  • Next day the Court ruled in Obergefell诉Hodges that homosexual couples must be accorded the same marriage rights as heterosexuals in all states of the Union.

Chief Justice Roberts posted a vigorous dissent, arguing that the ruling violated the principle of federalism.

In the atmosphere of Left triumphalism and jurisprudential confusion generated by these victories, what was previously unthinkable now seems all too possible.

The zealots have, for example, seized on a decision by the U.S. Treasury earlier this year to make the portraits on U.S. money bills more “inclusive.” Their call for all streets, schools, landmarks, and institutions named for Confederate generals and statesmen to be renamed is now fast expanding into demands to de-legitimize the very Founders themselves, or at least those of them that owned slaves.

美国有线电视新闻网的唐柠檬 suggested on air last week that: “There may come a day when we may want to rethink Jefferson.” How long before activists, amply fed and equipped with funds from George Soros and cheered on by the $ PLCNew York Mexican Times, demands the renaming of our nation’s capital? 华盛顿? 的地区 Columbia?

In the spirit of my AmRen address, commentators have been arguing that we must now be at, or close to, Peak Leftism or Peak Liberalism. In the nature of things, by a sort of Newtonian principle, they say, surely a reaction is overdue—a counter-revolution?

It would be nice to think so, but this latest round of defeats leave me wondering whether, perhaps, things can indeed grow to the sky. Polygamy and polyandry? Legalized incest? Amnesty and instant citizenship for illegal aliens? Federal outlawing of separate Men’s and Women’s lavatories? The return of forced busing? Compulsory integration of housing? Anything seems possible—anything Leftists can dream of.

What can we do about this? Well, we can bellyache on the internet. That is personally satisfying, but not very effectual—mere guerilla harassment of a mighty, well-equipped occupying army. The entire readership of all Dissident Right websites doesn’t add up to the population of an average provincial city.

(An amusing feature of the current situation is that some of the less intelligent foot-soldiers in that army still believe 他们自己 to be the counter-culture, Speaking Truth to Power. As 拉姆斯保尔 told the unkempt, neck-bearded little gaggle of antifa demonstrators outside the 2014 AmRen conference: “Do you really imagine you’re sticking it to the Man? You ,那恭喜你, the Man!”)

Meanwhile the Left consolidates its hold on all the commanding heights of our society: the Main Stream Media, the schools and universities, the big corporations, the courts, the churches, the political party bosses.

We webizens can bloviate to our hearts’ content; the rulers don’t really care. They have perfected the art of running a “beggars’ democracy.”

Steve Sailer doesn’t get invited on Fox News; Jared Taylor isn’t being asked to give college commencement addresses.

Occasional eruptions of citizen resistance to the ruling power are easily smacked down. When supporters of the Confederate flag were set upon by an antifa mob in Columbia, South Carolina on Monday this week, there was only one arrest… of a flag supporter.

Things look bad all over for traditional values and the historic American nation.

I’m here to cheer you up, though. There have been some rays of light through the gloom these past few days.

Two rays of light, to be precise: Donald Trump and Ann Coulter.

在6月16上 特朗普宣布 that he is a candidate for the Republican Party’s Presidential candidate in the 2016 election. He marked the occasion with a rambunctious speech, reminding supporters that, quote, “I’m really rich” and promising, among other things, that:

I would build a great wall, and nobody builds walls better than me believe me, and I’ll build them very inexpensively. I will build a great, great wall on our southern border, and I will have Mexico pay for that wall.

Sure, it’s a vanity candidacy; and sure, Trump is all over the shop on National Question issues.

In a follow-up TV, for example, he suggested black supremacist Oprah Winfrey as a possible running mate.

I like Oprah. I think Oprah would be great. I’d love to have Oprah. I think we’d win easily, actually.

None of that matters. What matters is that Trump is a patriot with a genius for self-promotion, who speaks his mind and can pay his own way. Up on stage with the timid, Donor-whipped other GOP hopefuls he will be free to bring forth 仇恨 and ask questions the Establishment does not want asked.

He will, in other words, be free to speak truth to Donor Power!

Trump’s candidacy terrifies the GOP managers. They remember a previous vanity candidate who cost them the Presidency. Perot took 19 percent of the vote, mainly from disgruntled Republicans. Eeek!

And then, Ann Coulter. Ann get invited on Fox News. Her books are bought by millions. Her latest, exposing the sick, nation-killing hoax that is U.S. immigration policy, is a bestseller.

的努力 文化宣传司 to silence her by mockery are falling flat. Until they can gin up some kind of Hate Crime lawsuit against her, perhaps in a foreign jurisdiction, Ann is out there Speaking Truth to Power along with The Donald.

There has in fact been some cognitive cross-fertilization. Ann has tweeted that Trump got an advance copy of ¡再见美国! These two could make quite a team.

That was the thought behind my proposal, in the June 20 Radio Derb, for a Trump-Coulter GOP ticket.

I meant it facetiously at the time; but the more I think about the idea, the more I like it.

Whether Trump-Coulter be an electable ticket, I leave to the reader’s judgment. That ticket would stir up the Presidential race wonderfully, though. Power would be having more Truth spoken to it on the campaign trail than has been the case for many a long year.

trumpcoulter TRUMP-COULTER 2016! The more I look at that slogan, the more I like it.

Can we get some buttons made up?

  1. Oh, it would shake up the campaign, all right. Hillary would beat Trump like a rented mule in a Republican disaster of Goldwaterian proportions. Hell, it’s true that she would probably beat any other Repub as well, but not as thoroughly. There just isn’t enough of a pants-wetting anti-immigrant vote to overcome the negatives.

They’ve got my vote! Realistically though, Trump or any other Republican doesn’t have a chance. The country is too far gone. Even East Asians, who will see one of the most dramatic decline in their quality of life in the coming São Paulo America, vote Democratic and will vote for Hillary over Trump. Funny, we hear about how intelligent they are, and how all their kids go to Ivy League schools, but somehow they can’t understand their fortunes and livelihood, and the maintenance of that livelihood, are inextricably tied to white civilization.

  5. Nothing grows to heaven…

John, have you studied the Yi Jing? Or I Ching/Yi King, according to your transliteration preference?

Indeed, nothing grows to heaven. In the long run, the cycle will reverse. The problem is, the long run may last longer than any of us can endure. Just ask those of us who thought the U.S. stock market massively over-valued in 2013.

So it’s not a mathematically perfect sinus wave. And to paraphrase Chesterton, at any point on that wave, as with a mountain, we can choose to go up or down.

Of course, the cycle will reverse. An excess of one thing gives birth to its opposite. But there are ways this could happen other than ethnic Americans developing group consciousness and voting in their own interest. Many of the other ways involve exogenous shock. America tolerates ethnomasochism and buggery because we can afford to. Give us a true existential threat or an economic collapse and we’ll go back to race realism and executing sodomites faster than you can say “microaggression.”

  6. You make a few good points John. But for a political mathematician, the calculation of Trump and Coulter just doesn’t add up. Sure, there’s the inverted totalitarianism of the duopoly party, which serves the status quo trajectory no matter what squabbles the elites engage in. I suppose a kind of irony of complete absurdity in the face of the hopelessness of real change could be a kind of political theatre, putting the imprimatur on how falsely we are now ruled. But it’s a bit like the politics of Incitatus, the literal horse’s ass Caligula sought to make Consul.

The other-peoples’-money gambling mogul and the professional demagoguess? The choice of another run of Clinton-Bush can leave people in despair enough to grasp at very narrow straws to try to breathe democracy tbrough.

I would vote for them in a heartbeat, if they promise to ban immigration.

80-90% of the people are against immigration, gay marriage, etc.

These left wing things (such as gay marriage, liberalism, 3rd immigration) are NOT happening. The left wants to make you think that these things are just “happening”, and if you are against them, you are out of touch and the world is changing. Nonsense. This is lies and propaganda.

The reality is that these things are being forced upon us, by the Oligarchs who control all 3 branches of our govt. and the media. They want to destroy the country and “soften up” the white majority so they can control them more easily.

The Supreme Court always votes in favor of the Oligarchs. The Oligarchs want 3rd world immigration, the Supreme Court (and Obama) said yes, sir. The Oligarchs wanted gay marriage, and Obama, and the Supreme Court, said, yes, of course, sir.

I made a list of what the Oligarchs want and they win 90%-100% of the time, AGAINST the will of the people.

Who are these Oligarchs? Lets ask Vice President Joe Biden, as he knows them very well. Here is one news article:

Biden: Leaders Drove Gay Marriage Changes.

    http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-4382986,00.html

In fact, 3 of the Judges on the Supreme Court (Ginsburg, Kagan and Breyer) are Jewish, and several of the others are owned and operated by the Oligarchs.

In fact, Obama goes around bragging that he is the first Jewish President, here:

    http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2015/05/22/obama_i_have_been_called_the_first_jewish_president.html

Trump is a bromide in a sense, he’s bringing issues to the forefront that the elites have buried for the last 30 years to keep them docile. This is driving them insane, I’ve see enough WSJ hacks on FoxNews go frothing at the mouth over Trump to know he’s got them terrified.

It’s really quite funny to watch them go batshit crazy.

And the longer he keeps these issues in the news(immigration, Free trade), the worse he makes it for the established Rethugs and gets people focused on the important issues – and those issues aren’t Caitlyn or Mattess Girl either. The social issues have always been a side show distraction to keep the people away from the economic ass bending they are getting and the loss of their children’s future.

And the very last thing they want to do is have the peoples anger focused on the business and political elite in this country. In country where the people loaded to the gills with weapons, well things could get quite dicey for the chambers of Commerce types along with a bunch of political elite in D.C. NYC and LA once the people see who the real enemy is.

It’s a funny time in history. Millions of people DO know what’s happening. But absolutely no place in our public square allows discussion of what is being done to White people.

Everyone is working their own private angle. Too many White Americans think they will escape the worst of it and leave it to their grandchildren to deal with (for whom they apparently have little love).

Too many Whites want to be “Good Doggys” who say the right things in public, affect properly modern attitudes of Christian or Liberal thinking, and pride themselves on “getting with the program”, meaning, they don’t say anything that would hurt their lifetime earnings potential.

BUT, we have this one power: Don’t ever shut up. It is unknowable when the tide will change, but what we can do is plant seeds that push it in the right direction when the sun finally breaks through.

yeah, they are definitely scared. I have not seen anything like this. But the real question here is why are the TV talking heads scared? The corporate media lives off of advertising purchases by big corporations. If Trump gets into power and somehow drives out some illegals or stops the influx, that is going to put a crimp on growth. The USA is really a sort of ponzi scheme where the scheme depends on eternal growth. The 2008 financial crisis almost stopped that machine. If another similar event occurs in the near future, the machine is going to stop. Of course, that would be good for most americans if the inflation machine stops. But the ponzi scheme will go bust. The 2008 crisis put a lot of journalists out of work and media outlets out of business. They are fighting for their lives.

    JUDAISTS ARE NOT SEMITES.

Your query can be answered as follows:

There are people in our society who call themselves “Jews” and believe they are “semites”, diaspora from Israel. But a little logic reasoning proves these beliefs as false.

In fact, most Judaists are European Whites whose ancestors converted to Judaism in the Middle ages. See Arthur Koestler, 13th tribe; also Dr. Schlomo Sand’s award-winning book reviewed on:

    http://www.gilad.co.uk/writings/the-wandering-who-by-gilad-atzmon.html

    http://www.forward.com/articles/9406/

    http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/959229.html

See the book: “Myth of the Jewish race” by Patai.

So there is no such race as “Jew”; Judaism is a religion and its followers are Judaists.

So where did this myth come from? The Judaists base this belief on the Torah, primarily. But the Torah (OT) is a “forgery” (See: McCabe) and “spurious” (–Thomas Paine). That is obvious from book 1, page 1. The Earth is not 6000 years old. Cultures (unknown to the scribes) flourished much before. Written records and archeological evidence using carbon dating show man’s presence tens of thousands of years ago, probably over a 100,000 years ago. A million people cannot live in a vast desert (without water or food) in a hostile nation for 40 years—and leave no trace.

Moshe (an Egyptian, therefore African black) never existed. His story is copied from the older African myth of Mises. Exile and Exodus never happened. For eg., as stated in “Deconstructing the Walls of Jericho” (by Prof. Ze’ev Herzog of the Dept. of Archaeology, Tel Aviv University):

    “这是考古学家从他们在以色列土地上的发掘中学到的:以色列人从未在埃及,没有在沙漠中游荡,没有征服土地,也没有将其传给以色列的12个部落以色列…。”

Next day the Court ruled in Obergefell v. Hodges that homosexual couples must be accorded the same marriage rights as heterosexuals in all states of the Union.

It’s astounding how corrupt the American legal system has become. Homosexuals have been accorded the same marriage rights as heterosexuals in all States of the union throughout living memory; for all I know, since the Founding. Equal marriage rights have been precisely the problem that homosexuals have been fighting against.

One day, God willing, Congress will make war on the SCotUS. I can’t wait see how the black robes like running their dog and pony show from their private residences. For starters.

I would build a great wall, and nobody builds walls better than me believe me, and I’ll build them very inexpensively. I will build a great, great wall on our southern border, and I will have Mexico pay for that wall.

Couldn’t he have thrown me a bone here? Would it have killed him to add “it’s gonna be yoooge” at the end? Ah, well, nobody’s perfect.

Trump’s candidacy terrifies the GOP managers.

They seem more terrified of the leftist corporate media. I hope Mr. Trump does everything he can to change that around.

The thumb-sucking faith in Hillary’s invincibility is kinda cute. She’s a poor politician, over the hill, devoid of charisma, and has an army of skeletons in her closet, but yea, she’s invincible…so invincible that some nobody from Chicago ate her lunch.

Mr. Derbyshire, I’m a fan and I’ve been reading your stuff for a couple of years now. If I can ever figure out a way to make a donation at your website without my daft fire-breathing democrat of a wife finding out I will do so – and I do mean that.

What I honestly believe: America & Western Civilization are effectively doomed. In every (prolonged) war there is a decisive battle, a turning-point, for one side from which there is no recovery and eventually they go on to lose, no matter how desperate a rearguard action they fight . In the Civil War it was Gettysburg for the Confederacy. In WWII it was the Battle of Midway for the Japanese and the Battle of Kursk for the Germans. (In some cases, like Vietnam and OIF, one side declares victory, withdraws and only later does it becomes apparent that in fact they lost).

The SCOTUS ruling on same-sex marriage is that turning-point in the Culture Wars. The Left’s message of “If it feels good, do it” has prevailed. The Right’s message of “Take responsibility for yourself, rein in your worst impulses and eat your spinach – even if you don’t want to” didn’t have the same appeal. “Go figure.”

What happens now? The Left continues to crush the last remaining hold-outs and “shoots the prisoners,” e.g. bakery-owners, wedding-photographers, county clerks (marriage licenses) and pastors (weddings). Next up: Rechristen every street & institution named after a prominent member of the Confederacy; remove the tax-exempt status of churches; remove the accreditation of all religious schools that don’t tow the same-sex line; get hate-speech laws comparable to the U.K.’s on the books.

Take cash in your bank or in ATM.
Purchase (for cash) a money order at the US Post office.
Send it by mail to the addressee.
Probably the addressee will inform you about postal address, if contacted by e-mail.
The latter can be found on addressee’s personal web-site.

  50. My dear Mr. Derbyshire, I hope you will give some thought to an alternative to Trump-Coulter 2016.

    To wit: Coulter-Trump 2016.

Brazil isn’t– and has never been– multicultural. They’re not stupid. They’re multi种族. And not through immigration. (A few Japanese aside.)

I was playing on the old cliché that Americans are so dumb, they think Brazilians speak Spanish. But too much of America does.

They are multi-racial AND multi-cultural. The indigenous peoples of Brazil comprise a large number of distinct ethnic groups. What, you think all natives groups are the same?

“But too much of America does.”

Not going to change anytime soon, I’m afraid.

Voting is collective insanity and the equivalent of a prison warden allowing the prisoners to vote for what’s for dinner tomorrow while knowing full-well that chicken is being prepared in the prison kitchen. You’ll be offered a selection of degenerates that are easily blackmailed – no exceptions. Nobody is ever allowed to attain a position of power unless they have already committed multiple felonies and sexual taboos (Obama [homosexual], Bill Clinton [serial rapist], etc.). You don’t think that the NSA is interested in YOUR emails and phone calls, do you? Of course not. They blackmail politicians, judges, law enforcement, military, media, etc. to keep them in line. That’s how they make sure that we continue to be dominated by psychopaths, degenerates, fags, murderers, and pedophiles.

Trump should add to his anti-immigration argument…needs to demonstrate how massive immigration been a large reason for the destruction of the American working class and the lower pay seen for working Americans. Bernie Sanders had made this argument…In the past the unions and democrats were against immigration because it suppresses wages, which is the main reason Republicans support massive immigration.

Cesar Chavez became a Mexican hero, by opposing immigration. He fought against Mexican immigration because it suppressed farm workers pay. But Republicans will not make this argument, because it highlights the reasons they always favor more immigration, to keep wages low.

  60. J Green 说:

I will vote for Trump on the immigration issue alone. The Republicans are experts at screwing over their voter base. In fact they’re embarrassed by their voter base (middle class white people) whereas the Democrats are not at all embarrassed by voter base (everybody except middle class white people). If it’s Jeb Bush vs. Hillary Clinton I can’t even think of any reason why I’d prefer Jeb.

  61. What about Trump-Palin?

I don’t get it why Sarah Palin has fallen so out-of-grace with the PTB, especially the cess pool of the MSM. But the fact that she is on the outs with MSM is a big plus in my evaluation of her! There are millions of Red Necks out here, and Sarah is sexy. I bet she shoots pool too, on Saturday night.

Palin still has at least as much name recognition as Coulter. And Sarah also has the same pragmatic approach to the issues that Trump has. Plus, Sarah brings the West to Trump’s extreme East Coast orientation. Coulter – born and bred Connecticut aristocracy, votes in Palm Beach – how East Coasty can you get? Is anyone aware of how much of a turn-off it is for people in the West to see someone as East Coasty?

Another problem Derbyshire et al. seem to have is thinking that everybody watches TV news/opinion stuff and listens to talk radio … but in reality most of us don’t. Indeed, people who have nothing better to do with their time than follow Ann Coulter … are almost as pathetic as people who still listen to Rush Limbaugh.
